Charles Tews is President and Founder of Tews Company. Prior to establishing the firm, Tews spent five years with General Mills/Darden Restaurants working in both financial planning and analysis and Government Relations. Charles is very involved in the Central Florida non profit community having served as Board Chair for The Coalition For The Homeless Of Central Florida and Chair of the Pace Center For Girls. He has also served on the Board of the Orlando Health Foundation and Committee Of 100 of Central Florida. Tews holds a BS in Finance from Florida State University and an MBA from the Gouizueta School of Business at Emory University.
Whitney Saylor joined Tews Company in 2004 and currently serves as Practice Director where she is responsible for managing Tews Company's Administrative Recruiting Division. Whitney finds great satisfaction in matching the right talent with the right companies in Central Florida. Building relationships with both client and candidate has been her success factor. A native of the Orlando area, Whitney is active in the Central Florida community and her church. She holds a BA in Mass Communications from Carson-Newman University.
Julie Caruso is a Senior Recruiter in Tews Company's Administrative Division, with a focus on Marketing and Human Resources. She is responsible for successfully managing key client accounts as well as sourcing, screening and interviewing talent to fill client needs. After attending Florida State University, Julie came to work at Tews Company in March of 2000. In 2006 she took a five year hiatus to work for a Public Relations firm in New York City and an Interactive Media company located in Orlando. Julie returned to Tews Company in 2011 and hit the ground running! As a native resident of Orlando, Julie believes in keeping things local and supporting the community. When Jules isn't in the office, there is a very good chance she is adding stamps to her passport.
Rebecca Fessler joined the Tews Company in March of 2014 as an Account Manager. She currently works as a recruiter in the Administrative Division at Tews Company, helping place qualified candidates to job opportunities in the greater Orlando area. Prior to working at Tews Company, Rebecca worked as an Account Manager and Software Trainer for several years in Birmingham, Alabama. Rebecca received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing as well as her M.B.A. at Samford University.
Emily Jashinski joined Tews Company in January of 2016 as a Recruiting Coordinator. Emily focuses on assisting new candidates through the onboarding and application process. She has a diverse professional background in management and customer service and earned her Bachelors and Master’s Degree here in Orlando. When Emily isn’t working she enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Marshall Clark is a Senior Recruiter for the Accounting & Finance Division of Tews Company. He brings with him over four years of recruiting experience on a national level with a track record of success. Marshall’s high energy enthusiasm and determination to find the best match for every employer and candidate is the fuel that drives him on a daily basis. Born and raised in Central Florida, he attended Winter Park High School before graduating from Auburn University with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. When not finding top talent, Marshall can be found playing lacrosse or at the beach with friends and family.
Sarah Smeenge started at the Tews Company in 2013 and is currently a Recruiter for the Accounting and Finance Division. She enjoys assisting qualified candidates find employment with our top-notch clients. Previous experience includes: marketing, business development and real estate sales. Sarah is a native Orlando resident, serves as a committee member for the Downtown College Park Partnership and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida.
Shawn Stewart is Managing Director of Tews Company's Information Technology Division. Shawn joined Tews Company in 2005 after spending ten years with two national IT recruiting organizations. A lifelong Orlando resident, Shawn is active in the Central Florida community and his Church. Shawn holds a BS from Florida State University.
Jacob Fessler joined Tews Company in 2008 and serves as Practice Director in the Information Technology Division. Prior to working at Tews Company he worked as a Technical Recruiter for an Orlando based consulting firm specializing in Engineering and Information Technology solutions for the Aerospace and Defense industry. Jacob grew up in the Orlando area and holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Central Florida. He has enjoyed being active in his community as a Job Counselor for Jobs Partnership of Central Florida and a Board Member for the Central Florida Information Technology Society (CFITS).
Julia Porcher is a Sourcer for Tews Company’s Information Technology Division. Julia, a lifelong Orlando resident, joined the Tews team in 2016 shortly after graduating from Rollins College with a degree in International Relations. During her time at Rollins, Julia served as a Resident Assistant and Hall Director on campus and worked as an Operations Assistant for a local jewelry company.
Susan Howells joined Tews Company in 2002 and currently serves as Director of Business Development. In her current role she is focusing on the Information Technology sector. Susan has over twenty years of experience in the recruiting and placement industry. Prior to joining the organization, Susan spent six years with a national recruiting and placement firm where she managed two Orlando offices. Susan devotes much of her time to the Orlando community. She currently serves on the Boards of the Society for Information Management and the Central Florida Employment Council. She is involved in the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission and serves on their Investor Relations Committee. Susan holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Central Florida. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Robin joined Tews Company in May of 2015 as a Business Development Manager. She has eight years of industry experience and spent her last six years with a national healthcare recruiting firm. Robin was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida but has called Orlando “home” the last seven years. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from The Florida State University and is a proud Seminole!
Missy Wilson serves as Vice President/Controller of Tews Company. Before joining the Tews staff, she operated as the Business Manager for a local law firm. Wilson received Bachelor degrees in Finance and Accounting from Florida State University and the University of South Florida. Missy was born and raised in the Orlando area and has served on the Board of Directors of The Christ School.
